(Washington, D.C., 6/20/13) – Zeena, one of America’s leading clothing lines for Muslim women, recently released its favorite fashion trends and picks for Ramadan 2013. Given that Islam’s holy month of fasting will fall in the middle of summer this year, Zeena’s style guide shows quick and simple ways Muslim women can dress up their look for the holidays.
One of Zeena’s main Ramadan fashion recommendations is to add bright-colored accessories such as scarves, statement necklaces, belts or shoes to their lightweight, neutral-colored tunics for an easy and fun look.

“Fasting during those long, hot summer days can be challenging enough,” said Bayan Jondy, co-owner of Zeena. “We wanted to come up with quick and easy ways that busy mothers and professionals can look nice and polished without too much effort.”

For more formal events, Zeena suggests long pleated skirts with bold and feminine silhouettes, while studded wraps and shrugs add a little shine to their holidays.

“We stay on top of current trends when coming up with our style guides,” said Jondy. “Studded pieces are a huge hit this season, which we’re obsessed with! They’re a beautiful way to dress up one’s look for special events.”

Zeena, which means “natural beauty” in Arabic, is one of the leading U.S. fashion brands for Muslim women. Since its launch in spring 2011, Zeena has had new product launches every season. Ramadan has consistently been a busy time for Zeena, in which it showed a 20 percent increase in sales during the month last year.
